Macaroni Cheese

Servings: 4

Ingredients

200 g ham
200 g grated cheese
150 ml crème fraîche
150 ml cream
1 tbs dried thyme
1 tsp Provençal herbs
salt, pepper and ground paprika
500 g pasta (e.g. macaroni)

Instructions

  1. Dice the ham and mix with the crème fraîche, cream, seasonings and 2/3 of the cheese.
  2. Cook the pasta al dente.
  3. Transfer everything to a casserole dish and spread the remaining cheese over the top.
  4. Grill on the middle rung for around 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180°C, 350°F or gas 4.
