Skewered Meatballs

Servings: 8

Ingredients

2 shallots
2 garlic cloves
500 g minced pork
1 tsp finely chopped chives
1 tsp hot mustard
a pinch of chilli powder
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp paprika
salt and pepper
oil for frying
8 skewers

Instructions

  1. Soak the wooden skewers in water for 30 minutes to soften.
  2. Finely chop the shallots and garlic.
  3. Mix all ingredients into a single mass.
  4. Roll into balls and skewer.
  5. Brush with oil.
  6. Cook on a barbecue or in a frying pan.
