Turkey in Cream Sauce

Servings: 4

Ingredients

500 g sliced turkey (or chicken breast)
1 onion
2 cloves of garlic
150 g mushrooms
oil
1 tbs vegetable stock powder
350 ml dry white wine (just under 1 1/2 cups)
3 tsp paprika
1/2 bunch of parsley
1 tbs flour
salt and pepper
250 ml cream (1 cup)

Instructions

  1. Finely slice the onion, garlic and mushrooms and sauté in a pan with oil.
  2. Cut the turkey into strips, add to the pan and fry.
  3. Dissolve the vegetable stock in a cup of water and deglaze the turkey.
  4. Add wine, paprika, chopped parsley and flour dissolved in cold water.
  5. Season with salt and pepper and reduce everything until the sauce thickens.
  6. Add the cream and briefly bring to the boil again.
  7. Goes well with rice.
