Bacon and Blue Vein Burgers

Ingredients

For the sauce:
4 tbs mayonnaise
2 tbs tomato sauce
2 tsp chipotle sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
For the rest:
1 onion
2 tomatoes
2 handfuls of looseleaf lettuce
500 g beef mince
salt, pepper, paprika
200 g blue vein cheese
8 rashers of bacon
4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Combine all the sauce ingredients and mix well.
  2. Slice the onion into rings.
  3. Slice the tomatoes.
  4. Wash the lettuce.
  5. Season the mince, knead and shape into patties.
  6. Cook in a pan or on a barbecue.
  7. Place the cheese on top and allow to melt a little.
  8. Cook the bacon.
  9. Toast the hamburger buns.
  10. Fill the buns with sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, patties, bacon and cheese.
