Feta and Pepper Burger

Preparation Time : 15 mins

Cook Time: 30 mins

Servings: 4

Ingredients

2 red bell peppers
salt, pepper
olive oil
500 g beef mince
paprika seasoning
4 slices of feta
2 handfuls of rocket leaves
4 hamburger buns
4 tsp honey

Instructions

  1. Wash and core the peppers. Cut into rough strips.
  2. Place on a baking tray with baking paper.
  3. Season with salt and pepper and drizzle a little olive oil over the top.
  4. Cook in a preheated oven at 200°C, 390°F or gas 7 for around 25 min. until soft.
  5. Season the mince, knead and shape into patties.
  6. Cook in a pan or on a barbecue.
  7. While grilling, place the feta slices on top and allow to melt a little.
  8. Wash the rocket.
  9. Toast the hamburger buns.
  10. Fill each bun with rocket, a patty, cheese, honey and grilled pepper.
