Blue Vein Salad

Ingredients

1 lettuce
50 g walnuts
1 apple
1 celery stalk
150 g blue vein cheese (e.g. Roquefort, Gorgonzola or Stilton)
5 tbs grapeseed oil
2 tbs white wine vinegar
1 tbs lemon juice
a pinch of sugar
salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash and tear the lettuce.
  2. Chop the walnuts coarsely and toast lightly in a pan.
  3. Quarter, core and slice the apples.
  4. Wash the celery and cut into fine pieces.
  5. Crumble the cheese.
  6. Mix together oil, vinegar, lemon juice, sugar and seasonings to make the dressing.
