Caesar Salad

Ingredients

Salad:
1 lettuce
50 g bacon
100 g white bread (to make croutons)
50 g Parmesan
Dressing:
1/2 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tbs white wine vinegar
2 tbs lemon juice
1 clove of garlic
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
2 anchovy fillets
1 egg yolk, fresh
125 ml olive oil

Instructions

  1. For the dressing, mix together egg yolk, lemon juice, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, crushed garlic, salt and pepper and then stir in the chopped anchovy fillets.
  2. Whisk in the olive oil a drop at a time.
  3. Wash and tear the lettuce.
  4. Cook the bacon and crumble.
  5. Cut the bread into cubes and toast in oil until crispy.
  6. Toss everything together and serve.
