Egg and Asparagus Burgers

Ingredients

For the sauce:
4 tbs mayonnaise
2 tsp mustard, medium hot
1/2 tsp white wine vinegar
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
a pinch of salt
For the rest:
1 onion
2 handfuls of looseleaf lettuce
1 tbs olive oil
12 asparagus spears
500 g beef mince
salt, pepper, paprika
8 eggs
4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Combine all the sauce ingredients and mix well.
  2. Slice the onion into rings.
  3. Wash the lettuce.
  4. Cook the asparagus spears in a pan with oil.
  5. Season the mince, knead and shape into patties.
  6. Cook in a pan or on a barbecue.
  7. Fry the eggs, sunny side up.
  8. Toast the hamburger buns.
  9. Stuff each bun with sauce, lettuce, a patty, onion, two eggs and asparagus spears.
