Grilled Lamb Chops

Ingredients

400 g lamb chops
1/2 bunch of parsley
thyme
rosemary
2 shallots
1/2 tbs hot mustard
25 g breadcrumbs (around 1 1/2 tbs)
1/2 egg
25 g grated Parmesan
25 g softened butter
salt
pepper

Instructions

  1. For the marinade, mix together chopped herbs and shallots with the mustard, breadcrumbs, egg, Parmesan and butter.
  2. Wash the meat, remove the rind, and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Fry the meat in oil and preheat the oven to 200°C, 390°F or gas 6.
  4. Cook in the oven for 10 min, then remove the chops and baste with the marinade.
  5. Cook for another 10 min. at 220°C, 430°F or gas 7.
