Spaghetti Carbonara

Preparation Time : 15 mins

Servings: 4

Ingredients

500 g spaghetti
200 g ham or bacon
4 egg yolks, must be fresh
a pinch of nutmeg
salt and pepper
40 g butter
125 g Parmesan, freshly grated

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti in salt water.
  2. Dice the ham and cook in a pan with a little butter.
  3. Mix the yolks, nutmeg, salt and pepper in a bowl.
  4. Cream the butter and mix in, adding ham and cheese.
  5. Mix the cooked spaghetti with the sauce and serve immediately. (The entire dish can be heated a bit in the pan if desired.)
