Vanilla Crescents

Ingredients

250 g flour
250 g butter (at room temperature)
125 g ground hazelnuts or almonds
120 g sugar
1 tsp vanilla essence
icing sugar

Instructions

  1. Cream the butter.
  2. Add flour, sugar, vanilla and nuts and quickly knead to a dough.
  3. Shape into a log of around 4 cm in diameter.
  4. Cut into rounds.
  5. Shape each round into a crescent.
  6. Bake at 175°C, 345°F or gas 4 for 10-15 min.
  7. Dust with icing sugar.
