Beef Soup

Ingredients

500 g beef brisket
1 onion
4 carrots
1 slice of celeriac root
1/2 tsp saffron powder
1 red chilli (optional)
2 bay leaves
salt and pepper
parsley

Instructions

  1. Cut the onion into rings.
  2. Finely chop the chilli.
  3. Peel and slice the carrots.
  4. Clean the celeriac and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  5. Cook all the ingredients except the parsley in a pot with 1.5 l water for 35 min. (The meat should be fully covered with water.)
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve.
