Broccoli and Cauliflower Cheese

Ingredients

500 g cauliflower
500 g broccoli
2 carrots
4 eggs
150 g crème fraîche or soured cream
150 g cream
60 g grated parmesan
200 g cheese (e.g. gouda)
salt and pepper
nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Peel and slice the carrots.
  2. Break up the broccoli and cauliflower florets until small and wash.
  3. Precook the broccoli, cauliflower and carrots for 5-10 minutes in salted water.
  4. Mix together the vegetables, eggs, creams and parmesan.
  5. Season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  6. Cover with grated cheese.
  7. Preheat oven to 220°C, 430°F or gas 7, and bake the meal for 10-15 minutes.
