Broccoli Casserole

Ingredients

500 g mince
1 onion
1 clove of garlic
750 g broccoli
200 g fettucine
2 tbs tomato paste
150 ml crème fraîche (just over 1/2 cup)
150 ml cream (just over 1/2 cup)
150 g grated cheese
salt
pepper
paprika

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion and garlic and fry with the mince.
  2. Add crème fraîche and tomato paste and season with salt, pepper and paprika.
  3. Cook the pasta al dente and blanch the broccoli in small pieces in hot water.
  4. Layer the fettucine, mince and broccoli in an oven dish.
  5. Pour cheese and cream on top and bake for 40 min. at 200°C, 390°F or gas 6.
