Fish Tortillas

Servings: 4

Ingredients

200 g white fish (e.g. perch, cod, sheatfish)
10 tortillas
1 lettuce
Fish Marinade:
4 tbs olive oil
2 tbs white vinegar
2 garlic cloves
1 tsp lime zest
2 tbs lime juice
2 tsp honey
1/2 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp ground paprika
a pinch of salt
Cream Dressing:
1 cup soured cream
2 tbs lime juice
1/4 tsp cumin
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt and pepper
Guacamole:
2 avocados
1/2 tbs lime juice
a pinch of salt
Salsa:
2 tomatoes
1 small onion

Instructions

  1. Mix together all the marinade ingredients.
  2. Wash the fish and marinate in the mixture for at least 7 hours.
  3. Mix together the soured cream, 2 tbs lime juice, 1/4 tsp cumin, 1/2 tsp chilli powder, a pinch of salt and pepper and refrigerate.
  4. Mash the avocado with a fork and mix with 1/2 tbs lime juice and a pinch of salt.
  5. Finely chop the tomatoes and onion and mix.
  6. Remove the fish from the marinade and cook in a pan or on a barbecue.
  7. Put together the tortillas with the lettuce, fish pieces, cream dressing, guacamole and salsa.
