Grilled Shellfish

Servings: 1

Ingredients

1 kg shellfish
1 onion
2 celery stalks
2 tbs oil
3 cloves of garlic
50 g butter
salt and pepper
50 g grated cheese

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion and celery and fry in a pot with oil.
  2. Add salted water and cook the shellfish in the pot for 8 min.
  3. Discard the unopened shellfish.
  4. Open the rest of the shellfish completely and discard the empty shells.
  5. Cut the garlic into fine pieces, mix with softened butter and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Place the shellfish on an oven tray, top each one with the mixture and sprinkle cheese on top.
  7. Preheat oven to 200°C, 390°F or gas 6 and grill the shellfish until the cheese runs.
