Plum Tart

Ingredients

Base:
350 g flour
50 g sugar
2 tsp yeast
50 g butter (at room temperature)
150 ml milk
1 tsp vanilla essence
1 egg
zest of 1 lemon
Filling:
1.5 kg plums
2 tsp cinnamon
4 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Form a dough from the flour, sugar, yeast, butter, milk, vanilla, egg and lemon zest.
  2. Press into a shallow baking tray.
  3. Removing the stones, cover the dough in plum halves.
  4. Combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle on top.
  5. Bake at 190°C, 375°F or gas 5 for 30 min.
