Spaghetti alla Puttanesca

Preparation Time : 25 mins

Servings: 4

Ingredients

400 g spaghetti
4 tbs olive oil
1 small onion
2 cloves of garlic
1 small red chilli
6 anchovy fillets
400 g tinned tomatoes
1 tsp oregano leaves
100 g black olives
1 tsp capers
Parmesan

Instructions

  1. Dice the onion, and cut the garlic and chillies into fine pieces.
  2. Heat some oil in a saucepan and sauté the onion, garlic and chillies.
  3. Cut the anchovy fillets into small pieces.
  4. Add the anchovies, tomatoes, olives, capers and finely chopped oregano leaves and simmer for 10 min.
  5. Cook the pasta and serve with the sauce and Parmesan.
