Teriyaki Chicken with Noodles

Ingredients

350 g chicken breasts
salt
white pepper
100 g flour
1 carrot
1 spring onion
4 cloves of garlic
4 tbs oil
80 ml sake (5 tbs 1 tsp)
120 ml rice wine (1/2 cup)
80 ml soy sauce (5 tbs 1 tsp)
ribbon noodles (already cooked)

Instructions

  1. Tenderise the chicken, season with salt and pepper and dust with flour.
  2. Peel the carrot and cut into thin slices.
  3. Cut the spring onion into rough strips.
  4. Cook the carrot, spring onion and peeled garlic cloves in a pan with oil.
  5. Take everything out, but set aside only the carrot and spring onion for later.
  6. Cook the chicken in the same oil for 5 min. on each side.
  7. Carefully deglaze with sake.
  8. Mix together the rice wine and soy sauce, then add and cook everything to reduce.
  9. Cook the noodles.
  10. Cut the chicken into strips and serve mixed with the noodles, sauce, onion and carrot.
