Coconut Macaroons

Ingredients

4 egg whites
100 g caster sugar
50 g icing sugar
200 g grated coconut
50 g quark
1 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions

  1. Beat egg whites till stiff.
  2. Slowly stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  3. Fold in the coconut and quark.
  4. Place spoonfuls on a lined or greased baking tray.
  5. Bake at 175°C, 345°F or gas 4 for 15 min.
