Tuna Burgers

Preparation Time : 1 hour

Cook Time: 30 mins

Servings: 4

Ingredients

For the seasoned cabbage:
250 g red cabbage
1 tsp salt
1 tbs red wine vinegar
1 tbs canola oil
pepper
For the rest:
500 g tuna steaks
salt and pepper
1 tbs olive oil
4 pineapple rings
2 handfuls of rocket leaves
4 hamburger buns

Instructions

  1. Remove wilted cabbage leaves, cut out the stalk, slice the cabbage into fine strips, add salt and leave to sit for 2 hours.
  2. Bruise thoroughly with your hands for 5 minutes.
  3. Add vinegar, canola oil and a bit of pepper.
  4. Wash the tuna steaks, pat dry and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Cook in a pan with olive oil or on a barbecue for around 3-5 min. on each side.
  6. Grill the pineapple rings.
  7. Wash the rocket.
  8. Toast the hamburger buns.
  9. Fill each bun with rocket, tuna, seasoned cabbage and a pineapple ring.
