Gyros with Chips and Tzatziki

Ingredients

300 g pork, veal or turkey schnitzel
1 tbs olive oil
1 1/2 tbs lemon juice
1/2 oregano sprig
1/2 thyme sprig
1 tsp ground cumin
1 clove of garlic
lettuce
1 tomato
chips
tzatziki
1 onion

Instructions

  1. For the marinade, mix olive oil, lemon juice, oregano, thyme, cumin, salt and crushed garlic in a bowl.
  2. Cut the meat into fine strips, place in the marinade, cover and leave to absorb flavours for 30 min.
  3. Fry in oil until crispy.
  4. Wash the lettuce and tomato and slice the tomato.
  5. Fry the chips.
  6. Serve everything together and garnish with onion rings.
