Tempura Prawns

Ingredients

12 prawns
1 tbs soy sauce
2 crushed garlic cloves
1 egg
flour
breadcrumb mix
cooking oil

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel and devein the shrimps, and remove the heads.
  2. Slice the shrimps 3 times diagonally on the belly side so that they don't roll up later when heated.
  3. Marinate the prawns in soy sauce and garlic for 10 min.
  4. Prepare three bowls: one with whisked egg and a bit of water, one with flour, and one with breadcrumb mix.
  5. Coat the prawns one after another in flour, egg and breadcrumbs, and fry.
