Teriyaki Chicken

Ingredients

350 g chicken breasts
salt
white pepper
100 g flour
4 tbs oil
4 cloves of garlic
80 ml sake (5 tbs 1 tsp)
120 ml rice wine (1/2 cup)
80 ml soy sauce (5 tbs 1 tsp)
rice, already cooked

Instructions

  1. Tenderise the chicken (cover with cling film and gently flatten to make it thinner).
  2. Season the chicken with salt and pepper and dust with flour.
  3. Put oil in a pan and cook the peeled garlic cloves.
  4. Take out the garlic and cook the chicken in the oil for 5 min.
  5. Carefully deglaze with sake.
  6. Mix together the rice wine and soy sauce, then add and cook everything to reduce.
  7. Slice the chicken, pour sauce over it and serve with rice.
